Hello, I’m Becs Watkins. I grew up in the coastal town of Bude, in Cornwall where salty air, big skies, and the Cornish countryside sparked my lifelong love of colour and nature.

Although life tempted me away from art for a while, painting always reeled me back in as it’s where I feel most at home.

My work celebrates Cornwall’s sea life and wildlife, from bright lobsters and fish to familiar countryside companions. 

Working mainly in watercolour, I turn my paintings into prints and fabric designs for the home; from tableware to soft furnishings, adding a splash of Cornish colour, character, and hopefully bringing a little everyday joy.
